IMPORTANT COMMUNITY MEETINGS

REMINDER – IMPORTANT UPCOMING COMMUNITY MEETINGS

You can’t save the environment by wrecking the environment – Let’s stand together to make a difference and Stop AusNet’s Towers

Save our farms, towns and communities. AusNet’s towers will be a blight on the region for generations. The proposed overhead transmission line project will have a 100-year impact on our communities.

The transition to renewable energy doesn’t need to leave an army of transmission towers and a massive terminal station in its wake. Destroying the uniqueness of Western Victoria. There are better solutions that are not being considered.

  • Overhead powerlines are a proven bushfire risk
  • They will sterilise Victoria’s highest producing agricultural land
  • They will decimate endangered species’ habitat
  • The Impact on property values will be devastating
  • and Tourism and the environment will suffer

At the Community Meetings learn more about

  • The Campaign
  • The Legal Challenge
  • The EES Process
  • Land Access and options and your rights
  • and speak with your local MP’s

Spring Street Rally

STOP AUSNET’S TOWERS RALLY

Come to Spring Street and tell the State Government to Stop AusNet’s Towers. If you don’t AusNet wins.

TUESDAY MARCH 8TH – 12:30PM

The Moorabool and Central Highlands Power Alliance is taking our fight to Spring Street

Join us on the steps of Parliament to send a message to the State Government: Stop AusNet’s Towers

Too many politicians won’t come to us, so let’s go to them and tell them to save our communities and farms

Stop AusNet’s Towers supports renewable energy, supports action on climate change and supports the environment. A GREEN generation solution requires a GREEN transmission solution.

Using out-dated, inferior and destructive overhead electricity transmission technology is NOT in Australia’s strategic national interest, nor cost-effective.  Above ground transmission infrastructure is not a future proof solution and AusNet, AEMO and the government are green washing this project.

Membership, Fundraising and Volunteers

We have developed a comprehensive legal fight backed by significant public funding to date however to progress this challenge and force this project back to the drawing board we need to raise a further funds.

We all face significant financial loss if these towers and the terminal station are built.

Dig deep and tell your friends and neighbours. Every donation helps.
