This information session was an opportunity for the community to gain a deeper insight into the proposed Western Victoria Transmission Network Project (WVTNP), and importantly how the community may assist in campaigning to “Stop AusNet’s Towers”.

Green and Unseen
Moorabool Shire Council has launched a campaign pressuring energy company AusNet Services to put the 500kV transmission lines that form the Western Victoria Transmission Network Project underground.

The Moorabool and Central Highlands Power Alliance hope to work in conjunction with the shire with this unifying message that these transmission lines would be of least impact to communities if they are underground.
