Win News Reports on AusNet Project

The risk of endangering nearby communities

AusNet’s Comment at the end of the video is unsurprising, where they state “Overhead Transmissions Lines are standard practice across Australia, and are the most technically, economically and environmentally sensitive way to deliver the project”.

The delivery of rail services in Bangladesh, as depicted in the following scenario, is also standard practice and the most technically, economically and environmentally sensitive way to deliver the service there, but would we Australians accept that standard here also? Just because it’s done a certain way, doesn’t mean it’s right. Australia is a first world country and we can do better, AusNet !
